No. Our products are never tested on animals — only on keratin samples and human volunteers. We also work closely with suppliers to ensure our raw materials are ethically and responsibly sourced, without animal testing at any stage.
What makes Nuvico gels different from traditional acrylic systems?
Unlike acrylics, which rely on volatile monomers and require aggressive filing for removal, Nuvico gels cure under light and can be safely soaked off without damaging the nail. They deliver equal or greater strength and flexibility while maintaining a safer, low-odor salon environment.
Do Nuvico gels penetrate the nail for adhesion?
No. Our gels are engineered to bond with the nail surface and its micro-imperfections — not to penetrate the nail plate. This ensures optimal adhesion without compromising nail health or creating uncured material beneath the surface.
Are “natural” ingredients always safer than synthetic ones?
Not necessarily. Every ingredient — natural or synthetic — must be evaluated for safety, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. In many cases, lab-developed alternatives are purer, more stable, and have a smaller environmental footprint than so-called “natural” materials.
